What is the working environment like? Is it safe? Does the owner repair equipment properly and on a timely basis? I saw a bakery who was in financial difficulty. Equipment was not properly repaired, doors were missing on ovens, handles were misssing, baking trays were old and discoloured, not appetizing. Electrical cords stretched across the shop floor because they could not afford an electrician to repair the plugs. This is a very clear indiciation that there are significant cash flow problems in the business. If the owner of the business told you that there were no cash flow problems, I would be concerned about the visual of the plant being so different than the comments of the owner.
